Audax Body Worn Video System (vest mounted camera)

 Audax are very pleased to announce an addition to our product range.Our Unique utility vest mounted camera system designed for Police, PCSO’s, Street Wardens, Traffic Wardens, Event and Door staff. As a result of several requests, we can now, in conjunction with our partners Arktis Ltd, supply a range of unique utility vests especially designed to mount the Audax Body Worn Video System.

Pouches and cable runs have been included in the vest design to ensure that the recorder and extended battery are securely mounted, that cables are hidden away as much as  possible and there are camera-mounting points on both shoulders. The vest will also be supplied with our headband therefore giving choice to the wearer.  

With its unique fold up design, the “easy view”™ pouch allows full access to the DVR viewing the screen whilst in the pouch without the need to remove it. The unit is also protected from the elements by a front Flap, which is Velcro attached. 

The layout of the utility vest has been designed to ensure maximum comfort to the wearer and also ensure that equipment such as quick cuffs, baton and incapacity sprays are still readily accessible in their familiar positions to give the wearer the protection and confidence they require.

We stock supplies of both reflective “High Viz” and black vests in sizes L and XL. Other colours (e.g. blue) and sizes are available on request.

The utility vest in conjunction with our body worn video system delivers the flexibility of use required by today’s video evidence gatherers.
