The Company services Police, Military and civilian security teams worldwide, and continues a family legacy in British defence. Many of the Company’s staff have histories with the military or police, which has been instrumental in its success. It is one of the reasons why we’ve been so successful. Audax began in 2001 as a Sales and IT Recruitment Consultancy in a garden shed near Okehampton, Devon. Today, its leading-edge equipment is changing the face of security.
The most recent addition to the Company’s groundbreaking security and surveillance solutions is mobile equipment and cameras for ALPR – Automatic License Plate Recognition. It reads a number plate and links to a computer in the back of a car or worn on a belt. It then gives the user a host of information on the vehicle in question, such as whether it is taxed, insured and whether the vehicle actually belongs to that person.
